Sweet-N-Spicy Onion Rings

Ingredients
| 2 Large | Oso Sweet Onions |
2 1/2 cups |
Buttermilk |
2 Large |
Eggs |
| 3 tbsp | Water |
| 1 3/4 cups | All-Purpose Flour |
| 2 tsp | Salt |
| 2 tsp | Cayenne Pepper |
| 1 tsp | Chili Powder |
| 1 tsp | Dill weed |
| 1 tsp | Sugar |
| 1 tsp | Garlic Powder |
| 1 tsp | Ground Cumin |
| Oil for Deep-Fat Frying |
Preparation
Cut OSO Sweet onions into 1/4-inch slices; separate into rings. Place in a large bowl; cover with buttermilk and soak for 30-minutes, stirring twice. In another bowl, beat eggs and water. In a shallow dish, combine flour and your seasonings. Drain onion rings; dip into egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
In a electric skillet or deep-fat fryer. heat 1-inch oil to 375. Fry
Onion rings; a few at a time, for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until
golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
These Oso Sweet Light and crispy onion rimgs are "Just Right". They are delicious along-side or on top of your grilled Hamburgers and hot dogs. Great by themselves. Great for any picnic.
