Charred Oso Sweet® Onion & Tomato Salsa

Yield: 1 1/2 quarts

Ingredients

2 each
OSO Sweet® Onion, peeled and sliced 1/4" thick
4 each Tomatoes, diced 1/4"
1/2 teaspoon Garlic, chopped
3 tablespoon Cilantro, chopped
1 each Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and minced
4 oz. Tomato Sauce
2 tablespoon Scallions, chopped
2 each Limes - juiced
2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
To taste Salt and Black Pepper

Preparation

Oil and season sliced onions with salt and pepper.

Cook on an outdoor grill over high heat, making sure that the onions are charred.

Remove from grill and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Cut into 1/4" dice.

Mix all ingredients together.

Season with salt and pepper.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Can be made a day in advance.
