Oso Sweet® Onion Reuben Dip

Serves 8
Ingredients
1 each |
OSO Sweet® Onion, sliced thin |
| 1 tablespoon | Vegetable Oil |
| To taste | Salt & Pepper |
| 12 oz. | Cream Cheese, softened |
| 4 oz. | 1000 Island Dressing |
| 3/4 cup | Sauerkraut, drained |
| 8 oz. | Cooked Corned Beef, chopped |
| 6 each | Swiss Cheese, sliced |
| 24 slices | Cocktail Rye Bread, toasted |
Preparation
In a skillet – heat oil. Add onions and cook for 10 minutes until onions are cooked and lightly golden brown. Remove from heat and keep aside until ready to assemble.
In a mixing bowl - mix together cream cheese, 1000 island dressing and sauerkraut. Set aside until ready to assemble.
In a casserole pan layer ingredients in this order:
- Cream cheese mixture
- OSO Sweet® onions
- Corned beef
- Swiss Cheese
Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Serve with rye toast points.
